Meet Your Teacher


Aya Rashed is an Arabic and Quran reading teacher with over a decade of full-time experience, specialising in Arabic reading rules, Tajweed, and Quranic recitation for non-native learners.


She holds a degree from Al-Azhar University and is certified in the recitation of Hafs 'an 'Asim by the path of Ash-Shatibiyyah. She also holds an Ijazah in the Jazariyyah, recited from memory with a connected chain of transmission, and is certified in the Nur Al-Bayan method for teaching Quran reading.


Teaching has been her daily work through thousands of lessons with learners of different ages and languages. Her approach is visual and structured, breaking the rules of reading into clear steps that a complete beginner can follow, from the first Arabic letter to reading the Quran.
